JANICE LEE COATES, was born on October 23, 1955 to the late Harry Ellsworth Coates and the late Mabel Rebecca (Williams) Coates in Woodbridge, Virginia.  Janice is survived by 12 siblings: Oliver Williams, Mary Daniel, Patricia Lewis, Audrey Coates, Harry Coates Jr, Valerie Brown, Jean Johnson, Fay "Marie" Shoffner, Altamese Richmond, Gregory Coates, Auther Coates, and Kathy Jones.  She is preceded in death by three siblings: Sheila Coates, Mark Coates, and Margaret Nelson. Janice was a dedicated mother and leaves to cherish her memory, three loving daughters, Natasha Coates, Robin Coates, and Jennifer Rodriguez; her adored grandchildren, DaVonta Coates, Natalya Coates, Destin Carrol, Janicia Rodriguez, and a host of other Grandchildren, family and friends.  Janice is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Jayla Coates-Eakins.  Janice received Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age.  She graduated from Woodbridge Senior High School located in Woodbridge, Virginia.  She was a hard worker. Among positions she held, she was a memer of the leadership team at COVAN Worldwide-Moving, Inc.  Due to medical reasons she was unable to continue emloyment.  Janice had manu hobbies to include: knitting, crocheting, cooking, singing, dancing, and working out.  She also enjoyed gardening.  Her specialty was growing vegetables and houseplants.  Janice was a music lover.  She listened to all genres of music: gospel, country, R&B, and rock and roll to name a few; especially when she was spending time with family and friends who shared kindred spirits.  In December of 2006, janice became very ill and became a resident at the now, Belmont Bay Rehabilitation center in Woodbridge, Virginia; for over 17 years.  She succumbed to her illness and transitioned to be with the Lord on January 15, 2024.  She is no longer in pain or suffering.  She is in the presence of the most HIGH God, Jesus Christ.

 

TERA EBONY BOOZER, was born on July 17, 1988, at Potomac Hospital in Woodbridge, Virginia to Tonya Boozer and Reginald Collins. She was 33 years old and resided in Woodbridge, Virginia. She leaves us with a hole in our hearts of her family and friends who always enjoyed her energy, her smile, and her sense of humor.  Tera always loved to surround herself among her family and friends. She was always there for you when you needed her and was always a person to talk to and rely on. Tera was driven, and determined, a “go getter”. She would always be that phenomenal, daughter, sister, cousin, friend, that would be there for you if you needed someone to talk too, hug, cry, laugh, or depend on. She was loved and cherished by anyone that met her. Her friends and family would say “you can never leave Tera without having an exciting and or an amusing memory to tell”. She could brighten up any room with her beautiful smile, her courageous personality, and silly sense of humor. She was truly the life of the party. She always gave her all in whatever she set her mind to.  She started school in Prince William County Virginia, at Rippon Elementary and attended West Craven for middle school in North Carolina. She played recreational league basketball, and drama workshops throughout her elementary and middle school years. She later discovered her love for music through her grandmothers Sandra Collins, and Elsie Mullins at church. She “SANG” in the children’s choir at St. Johns FWB church in Maryland. She attended Havelock High School in North Carolina where she loved to run track throughout high school years. Later, she accomplished one of her goals and went to Everest College in Virginia to attain her G.E.D in 2014. In 2018, she worked at Mary Washington Hospital in Virginia as a medical schedular/coordinator for three years. In March 2021, she then proceeded to gain her Medical Assistants’ degree. She departed from Mary Washington hospital and later worked for General Motors Telecommunications until her passing.  Tera had a warm heart, soul, and spirit. Her lively energy was immaculate and full of joy; if Tera was attending any gathering, you knew you would have a “time to remember”. Tera was a spicy food enthusiast, she loved to collect many different hot sauces and spices, she often would enter spicy food tournaments, and win! She loved bringing the family together for game nights, bowling, boxing matches, sports (Cowboys) on television, and any type of outside activity. She will be deeply missed by her friends and family and for those who knew her.

SHIRLEY MARIE WILLIAMS, 67, was raised in Fairfax, Virginia by Frankie Lipscomb and Helen Lipscomb.  Shirley attended Eleven Oaks Elementary, Washington Irving Middle and West Springfield High School.  She then met Charles Bernard Williams (deceased) of Triangle, Virginia and told him he was going to be her husband.  In 1969, Shirley and Charlie were united in Holy matrimony, by Rev. Norman Howard at Community Baptist Church.  In 1971, Shirley gave birth to their first child, Brandon Jermaine Williams (deceased).  Then after in 1976, their second child was born, Anya Monae Williams.  After her divorce Shirley went back to school and earned her GED.  She worked at the High's Convenient Store in Burke, Virginia for quite some time.  She became a volunteer at Burke Elementary school where her kids attended.  Shirley's true passion was working with children.  Throughout the years she babysat at her home, before stepping out of her comfort zone.  Once stepping out her vomfort zone, she became the Lead Teacher at La Petite Academy and Children's World.  Shirley's favorite things to do to pass the time were crossword puzzles, coloring, watching old TV shows, listening to music and dancing, spending time with her grandchildren, and her favorite of ALL , reading anything and everything.  She was known for her crazy sayings and comebacks, her beautiful smile and her kind heart.  She is survived by her daughter, son in-law, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren (1 deceased), five brothers ( 1 deceased) five sisters (1 deceased) a host of nieces and nephews, longtime boyfriend and many loved ones.

CHRISTOPHER AUGUSTUS WILLIAMS, 68, was called home to our lord on Friday, May 14, 2021 at his home located in Triangle, VA.  Chris was born September 11, 1952 in Alexandria, VA to Augustus Williams and Phyllis Williams who preceded him in death.  He grew up with his sister Veronica Wright and a lot of friends who grew to be more like family to Chris.  As a teen, he loved to put his thoughts on paper, he was a great writer.  He attended Prince Wiliam County Public Schools and joined the United States Army where he receied honorable discharge in 1976.  After leaving the military, Chris decided to join the workforce.  He worked various jobs but he found one that became his passion.  Chris worked at U.S. Filter Recovery Services for over 20 years and retired in 2016.  During his time there he received various promotions and certifications.  After retiring, Chris began to focus more on his business, Christopher Lawrence, named after himself and his best friend, Lawrence "Bubby" Ferguson, who preceded him in death.  Family meant everthing to Chris, if he called you he didn't have much to say, he just wanted to make sure the family was doing food and he also made sure he let it be known that he was doing well and he was happy as long as his family was doing well.  He was a loving person, uncle and brother.  Although Chris did not have any children, he loved his niece, Melita Wright and nephew, Fontaine Williams like they wre his own.  He is survived by his father, Augustus (Luella) Williams of Woodbridge, VA; his sister, Veronica Wright of Stafford, VA; Step-brother Vernon Harris of Woodbridge, VA; step niece Alyssa Harris of Leland, NC; great nieces Leela, Shayla and Shamya Lloyd of Stafford, VA; great nephews Anthony McGrew of Tracy, CA and Tre'Shaun Lloyd of Stafford, VA; his best friends Harrison Jones of Dale City, VA and Patricia Handy of Mechanicsburg, PA and a host of family and friends that he loved dearly.  Chris spent his recent few remaining years in the company of his family and but everyone knew Chris was quite content with being at home sitting in his living room watching TV.

HAYWOOD RUSSELL COATES, was ushered in the presence of the Lord on October 31, 2001 after gaining victory over an illness which was defeated.  Haywood resided at the Birmingham Green Nursing Home for the last four months when the Lord sought to take him to a better home.  He was the husband of the late Janie Brown Coates.  They had no children, but he helped his wife care for her two nieces and nephews.  He was employed many years with the School Board System in Virginia.  Haywood was a devoted loving father of many.  He was the sixth child of the seven children born to the late William and Eleanor Coates.  Washington, D.C. was his native home and later in years he moved to Virginia where he married his wife Janie.  He was baptized in D.C. at a young age and later was united with Mt. Olive Baptist Church where he sang with the MOBC Choir and joined a quartet singing group called "The Rising Stars", he sang bass.  He loved the Lord with all his heart and faithfully devoted most of his time singing gospel songs and enjoying the word of God.  Treasured memories will always be with his devoted and caring niece, Patricia Lewis, a host of nieces and nephews, three sister-in-laws, Mabel Coates, Viola Williams, Pearl Jordan, and a host of relatives and friends.

JANIE COATES, daughter of the late Ethan and Carrie Brown departed this life on Saturday, September 14, 1996 at Potomac Hospital.  Janie was married to Haywood Coates on June 15, 1946.  She was a mentor and devoted housewife.  She was survived by two sisters; Pearl Jerden of Woodbridge, VA and Viola Williams of Dale City, VA.  Two sisters preceded her in death, Melvina Sykes and Virginia Brown; one son, Wilbur Brown also preceded her in death.  She is also survived by two brothers, Robert Williams of Woodbridge, VA and Leo Brown of North Carolina; two brothers preceded her in death; Ethan Broen and Howard Brown.  She is survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.  Janie also raised several of her late sister's children.  They are Valencia Kirkland, Angela Richardson, Timothy Kirkland and Norris Brown Jr.

BILLY LEWIS WILLIAMS,  was the son of the late Viola and Carroll E. Williams.  He was born on October 16, 1949 in Woodbridge, VA.  He was the 3rd child born of their union.  Billy departed this life at Mary Washington Hospital on May 30, 2019.  He received his education at Washington Reed Elementary School.  Billy was loved and respected my many, but his real joy was working in the town of Occoquan where he served and helped people.  He was a regular fixture on the street corner with his bicycle at his side.  He will be missed my many in Occoquan as the town embraced his warm smile and childlike innocence.  Everyone he came in contact with immediately became his friend.  Billy was a trustworthy and giving person with a very big heart.  He had a passion for bikes and for him, it was more than his mode of transportation.  If for some reason he couldn't ride his bike, he would push it to get where he was going as though it was one with him.  Billy enjoyed fishing, shooting pool with family and friends, and was legendary for his dancing.  He cherished his jewelry, which was of no value to anyone but him.  Billy shared a very special close bond with his immediate and extended family and was both loved and respected by all.  Billy leaves behind to cherish his memory: 3 sisters- Carolyn Jackson (Eddie) of Fredericksburg, VA; Vanessa Chapman (Curt) of Fredericksburg, VA; Treasa Williams-Harris (Kendall) of Bowie MD; 3 brothers- Clifford Williams of Triangle, VA; Geroge Williams (Leo) of Garrisonville, VA, and Ron Williams of Burksville VA; 3 Aunts- Joan Mathews (Eggie) of Woodbridge, VA; Virginia Williams of Garrisonville, VA; and Elsie Boozer of Woodbridge, VA; 2 uncles- John Dangerfield of Dale City, VA and Joe Williams of Manassas, VA; and a host of loving nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives, to include very special friends- Dennis Coates, and Warren Jackson (Big G).

WILLIE (LEWIS) ARCHIE, was born August 2, 1957 and departed this life on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at home with his eldest son Willie Lewis Archie, Jr, and his love Elsie Jackson as he peacefully transitions.  Lewis was raised in Woodbridge, VA with his father, Henry E. Archie Sr. and his mother, Annie M. Archie, and his eight brothers and sisters.  As an adult Lewis followed in his father's footstep as an auto-mechanic and joined the family business (Penny Automotive) which was started by his father in 1954.  Lewis worked at the family business until he retired.  Lewis never met a car he couldn't take apart and put back together.  He enjoyed riding motorcycles with his brothers and friends.  Lewis also loved race cars and going to the races with his nephews and owned a large collection of model cars that he was very proud of.  Lewis' kind spirit and generosity were known among his family and friends.  He was always ready to lend a helping hand when called upon.  He enjoyed hanging out with his family, especially with his sisters and spending time with his children, nieces, nephews, and giving them advice wrapped up in his humor as only he could deliver, which brought him great joy.  Lewis was preceded in death by his father Hengy E. Archie Sr., mother Annie M. Archie, sisters, Areaulia A. Jackson (babygirl), Helen B. Jerry (Puggie), nephew, Brandon Williams and niece, Lenora Write.  Lewis will be forever loved by his family and friends.  Left to mourn his pasting are his three children, Willie Lewis Archie, Jr., Nyheem L. Jackson, and Rhonda C. L. Small; three grandchildren, Naseem M. Srchie, Asia M. Archie, and Nykeera L. Archie; his wife (separated) and good friend Betty Archie; five sisters, Velma B. Patterson, Shirley M. Williams, Deborah P. Sayles, Paulette R. Julian, and Paula M. Archie; four brothers, Henry E. Archie, Jr, Richard E. Archie, Lawrence R. Pearson, and Donnie L. Harris; three aunts, Mary
Bestman, Karen Mobley, and Frances McCrorey; two brothers in-law, Andre Sayles and Ronnie Julian; three sister in-ways, Rhonda Archie, Mildred Pearson, and Diane Archie; nine nephews, Fifteen nieces and a host of great-nieces, great-great nieces and nephew, cousins, other relatives and friends.

MATTHEW FRANCIS MARSHALL SR. born May 31, 1939.  He departed this life on November 4, 2020 at Fairfax Hospital.  He was born to the late Thomas A. Marshall Sr. and Cora D. Jackson.  Matthew worked for Rainwater Concrete for over 25 years.  In 1976 he trained Mike Washington all he needed to know on operating the truck and for dispersing concrete for customers.  matthew was a well known and loved person.  He will truly be missed by all.  Matthew was happily married to Mildred I Marshall in 1961, who is also deceased.  He is survived by two children, Helen I. Jones (Harrison) and Matthew (Matt) Marshall Jr. (Gertrud).  Survived by Thomas Marshall Jr., Rebecca Ball, Paul Marshall, and Michael Jackson, Five grandchildren, Ricky (Beatrice) Lynette, Shawnta, Sequoya and Cierra.  Seven great-grandchildren: Tyriq, Tianna, Ta'Shawn, Trenton, Ta'Shee, Ricky Jr., and Destiny.  Matthew had a host of nieces, nephews and friends.  A close friend and brother-in-law Joseph R. Williams and Sam Smith.  On November 4, 2020, God called Matthew home to be with his wife Mildred I. Marshall and all his loved ones that have preceded before him.

MILDRED INEZ MARSHALL (MY MOM), was born on October 3, 1934 to Philip and Mary Williams.  Mildred grew up in Woodbridge, Virginia.  Mildred's early education began at the age of six in which she attended Summit School, which is now located in Lake Ridge, Virginia.  The school then had one classroom that consisted of seven grades taught by one theache, Mrs. Connie Washington.  She went there until she graducated from 7th grade, then attended Manassas Regional High School, known as Jennie Dean High School in Manassas, Virginia.  She graduated from Jennie Dean in 1952.  On March 25, 1961, Mildred was happily married to Matthew F. Marshall Sr. for 58 years in 2019.   Mildred accepted the Lord Jesus Christ at an early age. 
She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church, under the Pastorship of Rev. Frederick L. Ray, she served on the Usher Board, played the piano for the Starlighters and sang in the choir.  She continued to be a member of Mt. Olive under the Pastorship of Rev. Clyde W. Ellis, Jr. and she also attended Heavenly Jerusalem General Assembly Church of Jesus Christ under the Pastorship of her son-in-law, Rev. Harrison P. Jones Jr.  She faithfully attended both until her health declined from cancer.  Mildred worked for Centennial One Janitorial Services in Ft Belvoir, Virginia and took a supervisory course in 1979, in Crofton, Md and completed the course in May of 1982 and graduated Supervisory Enrichment Program in April of 1984.  She became Supervisory/Manager for Centennial One for 25 years or more.  She later worked at Artie's Laundromat in Woodbridge, VA, retiring after working there for 12 years.  On February 26, 2019, God called Mildred home peacefully and relieved her from her suffering.  She is survived by her husband, Matthew F. Marshall Sr., two children Helen I. Jones (Harrison) and Matthew (a.k.a. Matt) Marshall Jr (Gertrud), five grandchildren, Ricky (Beatrice), Lynette, Shawnta, Sequoya and Cierra, eight great grandchildren, Tyriq, Tianna, Ricky Jr, Destiny, Ta'Shawn, Trenton, Tashee and Tamara.  Three great-great grandchildren, Tyriq Jr., Somiah and Selena.  One sister, Elsie R. Mullins and one brother Joseph (a.k.a.. Joe) Williams (Janet).  Mildred had a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.  She was an avid walker at Potomac Mills Mall and her close friend Eva Johnson, Frances and Doris Harris.  Love you mom forever.Helen.

VERNON MAURICE WILLIAMS, was born on January 7, 1951 to the late Alton and Eloise Pauley Williams.  After a short illness, he transitioned on October 9, 2018.  He was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System.  Vernon married Bernadette Briscoe on October 15, 1966 and out of this union, he had three daughters.  For most of his life he was self-employed as a candy distributor and pursued many business endeavors.  Vernon provided for his family and gave work opportunities to the youth.  Vernon was a good listener.  He also gave great advice and was very protective.  He also enjoyed watching sports, old movies, and dining at various restaurants such as Red Lobster.  He loved a good steak!  He was preceded in death by his brother Franklin Wade Williams; sister, Gwendolyn Carolyn Burke; step-mother, Willie Mae Williams; and grandson, Justin williams-Harrison.  He leaves to cherish his memory: a devoted wife, Bernadette Williams; three daughters, Trina Savage (Danial Savage), Treshawna, and Theresa Williams; sister, Althea Ray (Charles Ray); grandson, Jimmy Little; two great grandchildren, Jaylan Timpson, and Zimera Williams; two aunts, Mildred Marshall, and Elsie Mullins; uncle, Joseph Williams; and a host of other relatives and friends.

STEVEN ALVON WILLIAMS, was born on June 4, 1956, departed this life on July 16, 2018.  He was the son of the late Henry F. Williams Sr and Dorothy T. Williams.  He was the eight of nine boys and six girls.  He attended Woodbridge Sr. High School.  Mr. Williams loved riding dirt bikes, playing softball, and hanging out with family and friends.  He was raised going to church with his mother and siblings and under the teachings of Reverend Frederick L. Ray.  When he was older he moved to Pennsylvania and married Diane Bennett.  After a few years he returned home and went to work for Sterling Landscaping.  when he left Sterling he went to work for Bond Postal Services.  Mr. Williams then started working for Covan and Mayflower moving companies when he met his wife, Maretta Green.  Mr. Williams was preceded in death by this brothers Wilmer (Buddy) Steward, Julian (Butch) Smith, Edgar Smith, Franklin Smith, Henry F Williams Jr.,  and Michael Johnson; Sisters Marjorie Harris and Francine Williams.  Survivors include his wife, Maretta Green.  Sisters, Dorothy Davidson (Bernard), Calvene Jones, Cheryl Williams and Diane Williams; Brothers Richard Williams (Earlene), Calvin Williams (Cynthia), Four Step Children Jihad, Teveria, Tamara and Maretta; Three aunts, Joan Coleman, Matty Wright, and Lorraine Broadus; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends. 

CHARLES SMITH BOULDEN, (aka Charlie) Known to family and friends as "Charlie or Brown Town" was born August 13, 1949 in Prince Edward County, Virginia to the late William Haskins Boulden Sr. and Mary Evans-Boulden.  Charlie departed his life on earth on Friday July 13, 2018 at Envoy of Woodbridge.  Charlie was educated in Prince Edward County and Prince William County, VA.  He worked in the Construction field for many years.  He enjoyed cutting wood with his brother Wesley at the Mr. Charlie Wood Business for many years.  He also enjoyed spending time with and helping his family and friends, working on cars, and going to car races.  He loved to listen to music, dance, laugh and when he laughed it was loud and contagious.  Charlie never ended a conversation, phone call or a visit by saying good-bye or see you later.  He always left us with his favorite phrase "10-4".  Charles was preceded in death by two brothers William and David and sister Shirley.  He will be greatly missed by his surviving brothers Joseph, Jack (Geraldine) John (Elaine), Moses (Christine), Wesley (Evelyn) and sisters Mildred Carter (James aka Sonny) Janet Williams (Joseph) Esther Boulden and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousions, and many friends.

JOSEPH LEWIS WILLIAMS JR. was 74 of Spotsylvania, Virginia departed this life on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at Mary Washington Hospital.  He was affectionately known as Junior or Joe.  Joseph attended Jenny Deane High School in Woodbridge, Virginia.  On March 27, 1968, he was drafted into the United States Army and was stationed in germany.  He was married to the late Francine Williams and from that union four children were born, Cynthia, Joseph III, Vincent, and Evette.  On November 19, 1988, Joseph married Hope R. Williams.  They blended their families to include Hope's four children.  Erica, Andrea, Jacqueline, and Tanya.  Joseph never separated any of the children and was a great and loving father to all eight.  He had no problem telling anyone that he had eight children and that he loved them all equally.  so that meany we all received the same discipline and the LONG two-to-three-hour lectures.  Joseph worked for 28 long years with Virginia Power until his health forced him to retire.  Joseph had a passion for the outside.  He loved gardening and raising his animals.  He had the gift of doing things with his hands and could fix whatever needed to be fixed around the house.  Joseph loved to sing and cook.  He wouldkoften prepare meals for his children.  Joseph was a hard worker and would help anyone that he could.  Joseph loved his family and was a family man.  He loved spending time in the home with the family.  Joseph joined Ebenezer Baptist Church in Occoquan, Virginia in 1996 and was later baptized together with his wife hope.  Joseph was a faithful and committed member of the Robert Pop Middleton Mae Chorus until his health failed.  Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph, and Viola.  Two sisters, Blanche Vines, and Maryland King, and one daughter, Jacqueline McCord.  He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, who was his best friend and sole caregiver; seven children, Cynthia Hampton (David), Erica Linton, Joseph Williams III (Paula), Andrea Boone (Richard), Vincent Williams (Gretchen), Evette Lawrence, and Tanya Heath (Jeffrey); his only brother Earl Williams (Connie); two sister in laws, Gloria Shepherd (Douglas) and Linda Ferguson (Clinton); two brother in laws, Otha Vines and Douglas King, son in law, Vincent McCord; seventeen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, a xlose friend, Johnny Bailey, who visted him often; and host of nieces nephews, cousions, family and friends. 

 

VIOLA DELORES WILLIAMS, 91, of Fredericksburg departed this life on Friday, August 16, 2019, at Mary Washington Hospital. Viola was born on September 15, 1927, to the late Efram Brown and Carrie Jenkins Brown. On September 18, 1947 she married Joseph L. Williams, Sr.  To that union, four children were born, Joseph L. Williams, Jr., Earl E. Williams, Blanche D. Vines, and Marilyn King. Viola attended and was a mother of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Woodbridge, Va. until her health made it difficult to travel that distance.  She worked for Dewitt Army Hospital in Ft. Belvoir, Va. for over twenty years as a custodian, until retirement. Viola loved to shop for her many church suits, shoes, matching hats, and purses. She had every color in the Crayola crayon big box.  Viola enjoyed spending time with family and having conversations with her nine-year-old granddaughter, Kimora.  You would often catch them with their heads together telling secrets, as they would say. Viola was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Williams, Sr.; her daughters, Blanche Vines and Marilyn King; father, Efram Brown; mother, Carrie Jenkins Brown; sisters, Melvina, Janie, and Virginia; brothers, Douglas, Howard, Ethan, Leo, Robert; and granddaughter, Rhonda Hard. She leaves to cherish her memories, her sons, Joseph L. Williams, Jr. and Earl E. Williams; two daughters-in-law, Hope Williams (her caregiver) and Constance Williams; one son-in-law, Otha Vines; one sister, Pearl Jerden; two sisters-in-law, Mary and Louallen Williams; two brothers-in-law, Agustus and Lynnward Williams; sixteen grandchildren; great-grands; great-great-grands; and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
 

BERTHA MARIE SHAZIER (WICKER), (aka Bert) was born May 19, 1943 to Napoleon and Erma Wicker.  She was the oldest of eight children.  Bertha grew up in Woodbridge, Virginia on the corner of what is now known as Telegraph and Minnieville Road.  Bertha's early education began at Washington Reid Elementary School in Dumfries, Virginia.  She would later attend Jennie Dean High School in Manassas, Virginia.  She was very active in school participating on school committees, singing in the school choir, playing basketball and studying cosmetology.  She graduated from Jennie Dean in 1962.  Bertha accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior at an early age and was baptized in the Occoquan River.  As a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church, she sang in the choir, served on the Usher Board and taught Sunday School.   Bertha worked for thefederal government for many years.  While working in Honolulu, Hawaii, she caught the eye of an Army Soldier, Dariel Lewis Shazier.  After a short courtship and blessing from her parents, Dariel and Bertha were married on March 22, 1970.  From this union came two children, Elizabeth Marie Shazier (Lisa) and Dariel Lewis Shazier, Jr. (DJ).  After their tour in Panama, Dariel and Bertha returned with their family to Woodbridge.  She returned to Mount Olive and resumed her participation in the various church activities until her health declined.  Bertha loved to cook not just for her family but for friends as well.  She was known for "putting her foot in her cooking" (figure of speech).  People that knew her would ask her "is there anything you can't fix"?  Her answer would be "No, I learned from the best- my mother" (with a smile on her face).  On December 1, 2017, God called Bertha home to be with her husband (Dariel) and all her loved ones that have preceded her.  She is survived by two children, Elizabeth and Dariel Jr (Simona); four brothers- Ronald (Debra), Donald (Joan), Leonard (Marie) and Eric (Susan).  Seven grandchildren - Zenisha (Orlando), Jessica, Trajan, Jarious, Kaely, Serena and Joshua; One great-grandchild - Orlando Iezekiel Hunter Allen and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She will be burried at the Arlington Cementary, in Arlington Virginia.

DARIEL LEWIS SHAZIER, SR. , was born in Tallahassee, Florida, Leon County on December 27, 1944 to the late Styling and Jennie Jefferson Shazier.  His parents moved to Detroit Michigan where he received his educational training.  As a teenager, Dariel enlisted in the Army in 1961 and served for twenty-one years in which he completed four overseas tours; Hawaii, Germany, Panama and Korea.  During his tour of duty he was elevated to the rank of Sergeant  First Class.  Sergeant Dariel Shazier was a member of the prestigious Old Guard.  Along with this accomplishment he received the following awards: the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, and six Good Conduct Medals.  He was honorably discharged on July 31, 1982.  In the year of 1983 he was employed with the Department of Corrections, District of Columbia, as a Law Enforcement Officer.  Officer in charge of the Control Center (OIC).  He served in this capacity untill he retired in August 31, 2003.  Dariel was also a member of the Prince Hall Masonry.  On March 22, 1970, in Hawaii, he was united in Holy matrimony to Bertha Marie Wicker.  This union was blessed with two children; Elizabeth and Dariel, Jr.  Dariel leaves to cherish his memory, a devoted wife, his daughter Elizabeth (Jesse) of Raleigh, NC and his son Dariel Jr. (Simona) of Stafford, VA., a brother, Ray Shazier of Ft. Belvoir, VA, four Sisters, Dorothy L Covington, of Char

ERMA CECELIA WICKER, was born September 16, 1925 to Phillip and Mary Williams.  The oldest of eleven (11) children.  Erma grew up on the corner of what is now known as Telegraph and Minnieville Road, in a two-story house.  Her father Phillip owned and operated a convenience store on their propoerty that supported the family.  Erma's early education began in the private home of Mrs. Careen H. Washington, because during the early thirities there were very few schools for people of color in Prince William County.  She later attended Summit elementary in Agnesville (Woodbridge), located about a mile from the present Ebenezer Baptist Church, ( where Lake Ridge Burger King presently sits today).  Erma graduated from the Manassas Industrial School for Colored Youth, the only shcool for higher education of African American students in five Northern Virginia counties.  Erma was an active member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church if Occoquan, Virginia, where she sang in the choir and attended Sunday School.  She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior and was baptized in the Occoquan River at the age of fourteen.  Erma caught the eye of Napoleon Wicker who moved to Virginia from North Carolina to find work and after a long courtship her parents agreed to their marriage.  Napoleon and Erma were married on January 26, 1943 by Rev. Lovell in Alexandria.  They had to borrow then dollars for the marriage license from Erma's brother kenneth.  From their union came eight children: Bertha Marie, Napoleon Jr, Linda Elain, Gerry Wayne, (Twins) Ronald Elliot, Donald Ellis, Leonard Oswald and Eric Maurice.  Erma and Napoleon built their home beside her parents' house and store, where they lived until 1987.  This home was located on the current Ebenezer Baptist Church property.  Sometime after their marriage Erma and Napoleon joined and became active members of Mount Olive Baptist Chruch.  They served as Deacon and Deaconess at Mount Olive until their move to Stafford County.  While in Stafford County they became members of Long Branch Baptist Church, where they also served as Deacon and Deaconess.  Erma loved to cook and that was a big plus feeding a family of ten.  She also loved to sing and you could always hear her from the kitchen window as she cooked.  Erma would sing to the gospel music coming from the console radio and record player.  Mahalia Jackson, clara Wars, James Cleveland and The Five Blind Boys were a few of her favorites.  God blessed Erma with longevity by giving her 92 years.  He blessed her with a happy marriage of 63 years.  Because of Napoleon's job with United Airlines, Erma also had the ability to travel domestically  and abroad.  Early on October 1, 2017, God spoke quietly to Erma while she slept.  Erma and Napoleon are now celebrating together before the Lord.  She is survived by six of her children: Bertha, Gerry, Ronald(Debra), Donald(Joan), Leonard(Marie), and Eric(Susan).  Siblings: Mildred, Elsie and Joe, and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

MAUDE AGNES JACKSON WILLIAMS, was born in Washington, DC on December 28, 1924 to George and Sadie Jackson.  She entered the arms of the Lord on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at home in Manassas, Virginia having endured late stage dementia, also known as fatal brain failure.  Maude began her education in Dc at the Frances Stevens School for Colored eople.  After her family relocated to Occoquan, Virginia, she attended and graduated from the Jennie Dean Industrial School for colored Youth, a private residential institution proving both academic and vocational training through Christian teaching and doctrine.  Following the path of her late father, Maude was employed at the U.S. Treasury Department Bureau of Engraving, first as an inspector of stamps, and later as a currency examiner.  She retired from the Federal Government in the 1990's.  Mother Williams served in the Women's Club, the Missionary Society, was an original member of the Senior Choir and her grandfather John Wesley Jackson was the second pastor of Ebenezer.  Mother Williams' father was the chair of the Deacon Board.  When the founders organized under Rev. Bailey, meetings were held in members' homes while the church was being built.  In 1939, Maude married the late kenneth Williams.  From that union, they had seven (7) children, of which three have predeceased her: James (Jimmy) Williams, Donnell Williams, and Wayne Williams.  She is survived by three sons and one daughter: Frankie (Barbara) Williams of Stafford, VA; Darlene Williams Towson (Lerome) of Manassas, VA; Eldorado (Terry) Williams of Suitland, MD; and Terry (Barbara) Williams of Waldorf, MD.  She leaves 18 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.  Maude is also predeceased by her eight siblings.   Mother Maude Jackson Williams was 92 years and 7 months old.

MARY ELSIE (Bama) WILLIAMS,   was the daughter of the late Henry and Cecelia Cole. She was a member of Ebernezer Baptist Church in Occoquan, VA in her early teens and then joined Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Woodbridge, VA.  She moved to Fredericksburg in 1986 and then became a member of Long Branch Baptist Church.  She loved gospel music. She was 92 when she passed, but God blessed her with good health until her end here on earth. We called her "Bama".  She was married to the late Phillip Deforest Williams and was blessed with eleven children. Daughters: Erma Wicker, Mildred Marshall, and Elsie Mullins.  Sons: Joseph Williams and the late Phillip, Kenneth, Alton, Carroll, Harvey, Norman, and Herbert.

MABEL REBECCA (WILLIAMS) COATES,   was born May 18, 1926 to the late Blanche (Thomas) Williams and the late Augustus Williams in Occoquan, Virginia.  She had eight Ssiblings and is survived by two beloved brothers, Augustus (Gus) Williams and Lynwood (Lynn) Williams.  She is preceded in death by siblings, brothers:John, Joseph and Theodore Williams, and Sisters: Bertie Perkins and Doris Williams.  Mabel attended Manassas Industrial School for Colored Youth and worked as a dry cleaners counter clerk in Fort Belvoir, VA.  She also provided domestic help in Occoquan, VA.  Mabel accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at an early age.  In her youth, she attended Ebenezer Baptist Church in Occoquan, VA and was baptized in the Occoquan River.  Mabel joined Mount Olive Baptist Church (MOBC) in February of 1966 under the late Rev. Edward W. Burrell.  As a member of MOBC, Mabel was a member of the Flower Club, The Star Lighters, The Pilgrim Choir, The Senior Choir, The Gospel Chorus, and the Inspirational Choir.  She was affectionately known by the late Rev. Frederick L. Ray as "Mount Olive's Song Bird."  Mabel was married to the late Harry Ellsworth Coates in Washington, DC.  She was the loving mother of sixteen children and is survived by: Oliver Williams, Mary Daniel, Patricia Lewis, Audrey Coates, Harry Coates Jr., Valerie Brown, Janice Coates, Jean Johnson, Fay "Marie" Shoffner, Altamese Richmond, Gregory Coates, Arthur Coates and Kathy Coates.  She was preceded in death by three Children: Shelia Coates, Mark Coates and Margaret Nelson.  She was instrumental in the care and rearing of more than 300 grandchildren.  Mabel and her husband Harry were blessed with incredible vocal talent, which was inherited by their children.  Recognizing this talent, they formulated "The Coates Family Singers" who were recognized for their ability to harmonize and sing gospel music acappella.  The family continues to uphold this legacy.  Of her last request in a video message, Mabel asked that her family "BE TRUTHFUL" and "LOVE ONE ANOTHER."  On September 21, 2016, Mabel transitioned to be with the Lord in her sleep due to natural causes.  She was blessed with 90 years on earth.

MARVIN WAYNE WILLIAMS    Was the son of Maude A. Jackson Williams and the late Kenneth Williams.  He also was in close bond to his godparents, James and Genevieve Delaney.  The Delaney's and their extended family treated him as one of their own.  Wayne graduated from Suitland High School, in Suitland, MD in 1977.  He served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged.  He resided in Manassas, VA for some time before settling in the Dumfries/Triangle, VA area for the past twenty-plus years.  Wayne was employed at several car dealerships in Prince William County to include, Lustine Toyota, Lindsey Chevrolet, Manassas Dodge, and Stafford Toyota.  He was also employed by Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (METRO), and Virginia Power.  As a self-employed business owner, he owned and operated "Wayne Williams Detailing" and a small package delivery service for Regional Parcel Service.  Wayne was affectionately known as Uncle Wayne to many.  He loved to entertain his family and friends, hosting a variety of events such as flight parties, cookouts, after parties, and any other occasions.  He enjoyed coaching football and basketball games from the sidelines.  During the competition, on the field or court, he always had advice not only for his own sons, but for others as well.  Wayne was also known for needed information people would sa, ask Wayne aka "Wanyne-Knows" Wayne was well-loved and well-known by many.  His favorite pasttime was watching sporting events, live or on television, including baseball, basketball and football.  Wayne was a longtime fan of the Washington Redskins.  He is survived by his wife Renee, and leaves to cherish his memory, six children, Marvin Wayne, Jr. (Deyonka) of Pennsylvania, Anthony Whiting (Tasha) of Norfolk,Va and Amanda of Arlington, VA; Cortez Whiting of Stafford, Jalen of Arlington, VA and Camille of Norfolk, VA.  His mother Maude; Sister: Darlene Towson Brothers: James (deceased), Donnell(deceased), Frankie(Barbara), Kenneth(Terry) Terry(Barbara.  He will be truly missed....

ANNIE MAE ARCHIE, was the daughter of the late Louis Charles and Dora Ester Chinn Williams. She attended Summit Republic from 1st to fifth grand and do so well that she skipped two grades and went from fifth to seventh grade.  She graduated fro Jennie Dean High School and attended Winston-Salem Teachers College where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree.  During her college years, she sang with a group called the Camp Meeting Choir.  She was married to Henry E. Archie Sr (Penny).  She taught last at R.Dean Kilby School in Woodbridge, VA.  When her husband passed in 1975 she relocated to Fredericksburg.  She commuted from Fredericksburg to .  Woodbridge until she retired from teaching after 30 some years.  But later in years at the age of 89 she returned to her love of teaching and held weekly arts and crafts classes in her home for her fellow senior citizens.  Daughters: Velma B. Patterson, Shirley M. Williams, Deborah P. Sayles, Paulette R Julian, Paula M. Archie, and the late Areaulia A. Jackson.  Sons: Henry E. Archie Jr., Willie Archie and Richard E. Archie.  Step-Children: Helen Jerry and Donnie Harris. Brother: The late Henry Freemont Williams

AREAULIA ANN (ARCHIE) JACKSON,  was the daughter of the late Henry and Annie Mae Archie.  She graduated from Garfield High School.  Although she was known as the "Baby Girl" she was many times the strongest member of the family.  She was married to Leonard "Tony" Jackson Jr.  She loved Bingo, cooking and entertaining.  Daughters: Latasha Jackson and Ladasha Poindexter.  Son: Leonard Jackson III.  Sisters: Velma, Helen, Shirley, Debra, Paulette, Paula. Brothers: Lawrence, Henry Jr., Lewis, Donnie, and Richard.

PHYLLIS LEE WILLIAMS, was born to Florence Miller.  She was married to Richard Williams, December 25, 1978 and they loved and raised eleven children.  She leaves behind her mother, Florence E. Miller, her son, Christopher A. Williams; her daughter, Veronica D. Wright and nine stepchildren.

JAMES (JIMMY) EDWARD RICE  was born in Baltimore, Maryland to Florence Miller and James Rice Sr.  James was the oldest of two children, his sister Phyllis Lee Williams, predeceased him.  He attended Baltimore Public School.  He then joined the Navy and served for five years.  Afterwards, James moved to Woodbridge, where he work for Prince William County, until his retirement after 25 years of service.  James' favrite hobby was fishing on his boat.  He leaves to cherish his memory his nephew, Christopher Williams of Dumfries, Virginia, and a niece, Veronica Wright of Stafford Virginia.  A great niece Melita Wright, great Nephew Fontaine Williams, and one cousin, Norman Jackson of Eldridge, Maryland.

TIMOTHY ALLEN WILLIAMS, was son of late Harvey Sr. and late Sally Mae Williams.  Timmy attended schools in Prince William County and graduated from Woodbridge Senior High School in 1981. He worked for the D.C. Department of Corrections at Lorton.  He has two sons: Jamelle Willis and Timothy Williams II and three sisters: Priscilla Corbin, Josephine Williams and Mary Williams; Three brothers Harvey Williams Jr., Larry Williams and Willie Williams and one step sister, Diane Ferrell.

JAMEMESE ANN JOHNSON , Jamemese was a loving mother and grand-mother and a great person to be around.  She graduated from Woodbridge High School and received her business certificate from Woodbridge Business Institute.  Her biggest enjoyments in life were being with her family, fishing and dancing.  She was the daughter of the late James (Jimmy) Adolph Williams and Anna Gertrude Ferguson.  Jamemese leaves behind her daughters Chantell Lynn Duncan and Neeia Johnson and son Jaie Duncan, a sister Valarie Smith.  She has 3 grandchildren, Samiya Duncan, Devon Duncan and Allianna Duncan.  Her grandmother Maude Jackson a niece Britney Ferguson, her aunts Elsa Jones, Darlene Williams and Kathy DeLong.  Her uncles Ike Williams, Terry Williams and Eldorado Williams and late Wayne and Darnell Williams.   

BERTIE A. PERKINS  Bertie attended Jennie Dean High School in Manassas, VA and worked for Centennial One in Fort Belvoir, VA and retired in 1985.  She later went on to work for Coleman American in Woodbridge, VA for several years.  She was preceded in death by her parents the late Augustus and Blanche Williams and her dater Barbara A. Perkins, also her brothers Joseph P. Perkins and John G. Williams.  She leaves behind her daughter Norma Jean Thomas, her two sons, Issac W. Perkins Jr. and Donald Perkins.   Brothers Augustus (Gus)  T. Williams, Lynwood H. Williams and the late Theodore A. Williams and Mable R. Williams.

HERBERT W. WILLIAMS SR. , was son of late Mary Elsie Williams and late Phillip D. Williams Sr.  He leaves two sons; Herbert W. Williams Jr., Andre Williams and one daughter, Patricia Lewis-Miller.  Sisters, Erma Wicker, Mildred Marshall and Elsie Mullins, brother; Joseph and the late Kenneth, Alton, Carroll, Harvey, Norman and Phillip Jr.

NORMAN C. WILLIAMS Jr.,  was son of Virginia Lee and the late Norman Williams Sr.  He graduated from Woodbridge Senior High School and entered the Marne Corps after graduation. He leaves behind his wife, Lorraine Williams and two daughters, Normeka Williams and Detrice Williams.  He has four sisters, Madeal Bevels, Rita Corbin, Renee Johnson and Kim Moore and one brother, Michael F. Williams.  

LINDA ELAINE EVANS  was born to Erma C. and late Napoleon Wicker Sr.  She was the third of eight children.  She graduated from Strayer College with a degree in accounting and worked for the U.S. State Department for over 30 years. She leaves behind one daughter, Lynette Elaine Evans, one sister, Bertha Shaizer;  six brothers; Ronald, Donald, Gerry, Eric, Leonard and the late Napoleon Wicker Jr.

ALTON WADE WILLIAMS, was born to the late Phillip DeForest and Mary Elsie Williams.  He served in the United States Air Force and received an honorable discharge.  He was married to the late Willie Mae Williams and had four children. Gwendolyn Burke, Vernon Williams, Althea Ray, Franklin Williams, Beverly Bryant and Kenneth Lewis.   Sisters, Erma Wicker, Mildred Marshall and Elsie Mullins, brother; Joseph and the late Kenneth, Alton, Carroll, Harvey, Norman and Phillip Jr.

NAPOLEON WICKER SR.,  He was born in Marshville, North Carolina on December 10th, 1922 to Garfield and Cora Wicker.  He was the oldest son in a family of 11  He was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers: Margaret, Isaiah, David, Lessie, Bessie, Madgie and James.  He is survived by two sisters and one brother: Nottie Womack, Tina Finner and Carl Wicker.  Home life for the family was hard. He had to drop out of school in the third grade to help the family on the farm.  He did not let this hold him back.  He taught himselt to read and write and perform mathemathics skills.  He later moved to Virginia to look for a job where he met his wife Erma C. Williams.  They were married January 26, 1943 in Alexandria, VA.  He was inducted into the Army in the same year.  He was trained in Communications and received the rank of sergeant.  He served two and one-half years in theArmy during WWII and was honorably discharged in September 1946.  Napoleon and Erma shared 63 blessed years of marriage.  From their union they had eight children: Bertha Marie, Napoleon Jr(deceased), Linda Elaine(deceased), Gerry Wayne, Ronald Elliot(twin), Donald Ellis (twin), Leonard Oswald and Eric Maurice.  He had twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.  He was a man of strong faith and God truly blessed him with many talents.  He was a carpenter, plumber, electrician, mechanic, a bricklayer, a mason, and an all around handy man.  He also worked for United Airlines for 43 years as a cabin service manager.  He built the home that he and his family lived in with his own hands.  He was also responsible for remodeling many homes and other structures in the Lake Ridge area, including the baptismal pools for both Laurel Grove Baptist Church and Mount Olive Baptist Church and much of the interior work at Mount Olive as welll.  He was a Deacon for many years at Mount Olive Baptist Church until he retired from United irlines and moved to Fredericksburg, VA.  He bacame a Deacon at Long Branch Baptist Church in Fredericksburg, VA, rebuilding and doing much of the interior work at Long Branch Baptist Church as well. His last orning with his wife was spent reminiscing about their life together.  God blessed him with one last opportunity to tell his wife how thankful he was for having met her and then God carried him home.

NAPOLEON WICKER JR.,  He was born to Erma C. and the late Napoleon Wicker Sr.  He was the second child of eight children. He graduated from Jennie Dean High School and thereafter enlisted in the U.S. Armed Forces and served in the Vietnam War and received an honorable discharge.  Married to Brenda Ellis and two daughters, Napel and Janell Wicker.  He worked for United Airlines for more than 30 years.  Sister, Bertha Shazier and the late Linda Elaine Evans.  Brothers Gary, Donald, Ronald, Leonard, Eric. 

KENNETH ADOLPH WILLIAMS, was the son of Phillip Sr and Mary Williams.  He attended Summit School and Mechanicsburg Vocational School.  He enlisted in the United States Navy.  During his tour of duty he was awarded the American Theatre Medal, the Asiatic Pacific Medal and the World War II Victory Medal.  In 1939, he married Maude Jackson.  His children were,  Frankie Jerome Williams, Darlene Evonne Williams Towson, Kenneth Eldorado Williams, Terry Randell Williams and the late James (Jimmy) Adolph Williams, Donnell Eugene Williams and Marvin Wayne Williams.  He later remarried to Claudine Johnson in 1983.  Sisters, Erma Wicker, Mildred Marshall and Elsie Mullins, brother; Joseph and the late Kenneth, Alton, Carroll, Harvey, Norman and Phillip Jr.

JOSEPH (RAY RAY) RAYMOND WILLIAMS Jr,  was the son of Joseph R. Williams Sr and the late Velva Jean (Williams) McClain.  He graduated from Woodbridge Senior High School and trained with a certificate in auto mechanics.  He was employed at the Virginia Department Of Transportation for over 30 years.  He has 4 children, Jayson Warren, Darryle Pone, Brieanne Williams, and Amber Williams.  His Sisters, Ann Bennett, Barbara Jean Williams, Norma Patterson, Belinda Henderson, Janell Williams and Charlene Harris; his brothers, Jace Williams, Dennis Williams, Mark Williams, Timothy McClain Jr.

THEODORE A. WILLIAMS Sr, was the son of the late Augustus and Blanche Williams.  He worked for Sorensen Construction Company for over 30 years and retired in 2008.  He later worked at Giant Store in Dale City, VA before his illness took over.  At church, he served on the greeters ministry and sang with the Robert "Pop" Middleton Male Chorus.  He was married to Marion A. Williams with three children,; Theodore A. Williams Jr., Otis Williams, and Marion Williams.  Brothers, Lynnward Williams and Augustus Williams.  Sister, Mable Coates.

VELVA JEAN MCCLAIN,  was the daughter of Johnny and Violet Kendall.  She worked for the Federal Government at the Quantico Marine Corps Base and Prince William County School System.  She was married at the time to Timothy McClain.  Daughters: Barbara Jean Corbin, Norma Jean Patterson, Belinda Karen Henderson; Sons: Jace Vincent Williams, Dennis Lee Williams, Mark Conway Williams, Timothy McClain Jr. and the late Joseph Raymond Williams Jr.  Sisters: Sylvia Mae Key, Gale Martin and the the late Jennette Stancel. Brothers: Johnnie Kendall and Armin Mori.

CARROLL E. WILLIAMS,  was the son of the late Phillip Sr. and Mary Williams.  He joined the United States Army in 1946 where he served in World War 2.  He received a Victory Medal and an honorable discharge. He sang in the Ebenezer Baptist Church choir and he worked at Fort Belvoir Amrmy Base for 30 some years.  He married Viola Dangerfield in 1948 and had nine children. Daughters: Carolyn Jackson, Teresa Harris and Vanessa Chapman.  Sons: Roland Chapman, Billy Williams, Clifford Williams, George Williams, Ron Allenand the late Carroll Williams Jr, and Ronald Williams.   Sisters, Erma Wicker, Mildred Marshall and Elsie Mullins, brother; Joseph and the late Kenneth, Alton, Carroll, Harvey, Norman and Phillip Jr.

RADFORD NEIL MULLINS,  was the son of Millard and Evelyn Mullins.  He was a "jack of all trades"  He married Elsie Rebecca Williams in 1990. Sisters: Eula Vanover and the late Inus Mullins.  Brothers: Willie, Ronnie, Clifford, Gary and Jerry Mullins and the late Roger, Larry and McKinley Mullins..  Children: Yolanda Boozer, Tonya Williams and William Boozer Jr.

KYRELL KYYON MCNEILL,  was the son of Kyyon McNeill and April Williams.  He was known as the little man with an enormous amount of courage, love, heart and character. He loved playing basketball.   Brothers: Treyon, Tyree, Jordan, Josiah and Jacobs Matthews.  Sister: Jade Matthews.

WILLIE MAE WILSON WILLIAMS, was the daughter of Willie and Ella V. Johnson Wilson.  She was married to the late Alton Wade Williams.  She was raised in Hawthorne Florida and later moved to Jacksonville, Florida and completed nurse training in the health care field.  She also was interested in the field of cosmetology and attended and completed Jones School of Cosmetology and became a licensed beautician.  She worked also at the Barnes clothing store in Marumsco Plaza, Woodbridge, VA in retail.  Daughters: Beverly Bryant, Althea Ray and the late Gwendolyn Williams.  Sons: Kenneth Lewis, Vernon Williams and the late, Franklin Williams.  Sisters Minnie Bell Gooding and Gloria D. Holmes.  Brothers: John H. Ivey and Jerome Ivey.

DARIEL LEWIS SHAZIER, Sr.,   was the son of Styling and Jennie Jefferson.  In 1961 he enlisted in the United States Army and served for 21 years, which he completed 4 of them on overseas tours.  He received awards for: the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal and six Good Conduct Medals.  He was honorably discharged and was employed with the Department of Corrections in DC as a law enforcement officer which he retired in 2003.  In 1970 he married Bertha Marie Wicker.  Two children: Elizabeth (Lisa) and Dariel Jr.  Brother: Ray Shaizer and the late Styling Jr. and James.  Sisters: Dorothy L. Covington, Alpha E. Shazier, Marilyn S. Shaizer, Zephra A. Coles and the late Emma and Annie.

HARVEY C. WILLIAMS Sr.,  was the son of the late Phillip Sr. and Mary E. Williams.  He attended schools in Prince William County and he sung in a male Gospel Quartet.  In 1950 he married Sally Mae Robinson, later in life in 1999 he married Janice Matlock.  He worked for the Federal Government in Fort Belvoir, VA for over 22 years,  and later retired as a Maintenance Worker for Bayview Apartments in Woodbridge, VA.  Daughters: Priscilla Corbin, Mary and Josephine Williams, Diane Ferrell and the late Christine Williams.  Sons: Harvey Jr., Willie, Larry, and the late Timothy Williams.    Sisters, Erma Wicker, Mildred Marshall and Elsie Mullins, brother; Joseph and the late Kenneth, Alton, Carroll, Harvey, Norman and Phillip Jr.
